Have Fundraiser Ideas?
Volunteers, sponsors, prizes, and more ideas are needed. Please feel free to volunteer your time and skills.
Do you work for a business that may be able to offer free prizes or discounted items such as gift certificates or sample products) to POWSA for contests? Or, could you or someone you know offer services like lawn mowing or window washing as a prize for a drawing?
We are seeking a Fundraiser Coordinator.

Golf Tournament
We are currently signing up players and sponsors for this Monday October 1st tournament. Please contact Chico Rivers at 301-934-2507 or merrillrivers@aol.com.
Bake Sale At the MIR Race Track
The Maryland International Racetrack has given us permission to hold six bake sales there. We are seeking people to bake: stay-at-home parents, retired people, teenagers, basically anyone willing to heat up their ovens!!

Penny Drive
We are very proud of our children's committment to our neighborhood. Kevin is our Kids Coordinator for the penny drive. You can reach Kevin (and/or his mom Patty) at 301-934-1994 to arrange pickup or drop off of your pennies.
Yard Sale
We are beginning to plan a community-wide yard sale. Please begin saving things which you may want to donate to this event. We anticipate holding this community yard sale outside the neighborhood, as not many people come past Wicomico Shores. More information will follow.
Car Wash
We are working with various local businesses to hold a fundraiser car wash. Mark Weber has volunteered to coordinate the car wash efforts, so if you would like to assist in any way, please contact him at 301-290-1222. Currently, we are waiting to hear back from Food Lion in Charlotte Hall.
